Located in Westmount, this project reimagines a family home by enhancing natural light, fluidity, and character. Originally composed of separate, enclosed rooms, the space has been transformed into an open and inviting environment. Inspired by an English design approach, the renovation introduces bold colors, rich textures, and layered details. The once-fragmented living areas now form a cohesive double living room, anchored by an integrated bookshelf, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere. By repurposing existing cabinetry, the kitchen embraces sustainability while gaining a fresh identity through a deep burgundy finish, complemented by modern elements such as a stainless steel countertop and a sculptural marble island.

A new breakfast nook in white oak, along with a thoughtfully designed coffee corner, enriches the daily experience of the space. The interplay of classic and contemporary materials enhances the home's charm, striking a balance between timeless elegance and modern functionality. With its carefully curated palette and spatial reconfiguration, this renovation breathes new life into the residence, offering a refined yet inviting setting for everyday living.
